Set up ZS Bundles, step by step

Everything between installing the app and your first bundle selling on your store. Written guides you can follow in a few minutes — and every bundle type links to a working demo on our demo store.

Five steps

Your first bundle

Steps 2 and 3 are done once. After that, every new bundle is only step 4.

  1. Install the app

    Install ZS Bundles from the Shopify App Store. The free plan includes every bundle type, so you can build and test before choosing a plan.

    Open the App Store listing →

  2. Add the ZS Bundle block to your product page

    This puts the bundle widget on your product pages. Leave the block's Bundle ID field empty — on a product page the block finds the right bundle for that product by itself.

    Online Store → Themes → Customize → page selector: Products → Default product → Add block → Apps → ZS Bundle → Save

    Drag the block to where you want the offer — usually just above the Add to cart button.

  3. Turn on the cart embed Recommended

    The cart embed shows the rewards a customer is close to, and any one-click extras, in your cart page and cart drawer — and lists what is inside a bundle line. Without it bundles still work; customers just are not offered those extras in the cart.

    Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds (left sidebar) → switch on ZS Bundles cart → Save

  4. Create a bundle

    In the app, click Create bundle deal and choose a bundle type. The editor has three parts:

    • Products — which products are in the offer, and the saving.
    • Settings — the block title, the discount name shown in the cart and checkout, and who can see it.
    • Style — colours and layout, so the widget matches your store.

    The preview beside the editor shows exactly what customers will see.

  5. Publish, then test it yourself

    Click Publish. Open one of the bundle's products on your store, choose the offer, add it to the cart and go to checkout. The saving should already be taken off — there is no code to enter.

Landing pages

Show a bundle on a page instead of a product

For a landing page, a gift guide or a build-your-own-box page.

  1. Copy the Bundle ID

    Open the bundle in the app. The ID is in the Settings part of the editor.

  2. Add the block to the page template

    In the theme editor, open the page template and add the ZS Bundle block.

  3. Paste the ID and save

    Paste it into the block's Bundle ID field. On product pages, leave that field empty — the ID is only needed where there is no product to match.

The saving is applied by Shopify at the cart and checkout. There is no code to share, and nothing to leak.

Remove items after adding a bundle and the saving — and any gift it earned — goes with them.

Keep products published

A bundle that arrives as one cart line needs its product on the Online Store channel. The editor warns you if not.
